Firelands Flyfishers History

​

Firelands Flyfishers was established in 1994 by founder William Grake who was president of the club until 2016. Because of family obligations, Bill decided it was time to give up the helm. Bill continues to be a member, advisor, mentor and has more time to enjoy his family, fish and his other hobbies.

 

Bill paved the foundation for change in leadership for the club to become stronger by members coming together and sharing their ideas and responsibilities of their club. 

 

We sincerely appreciate Bill's 12 years of leadership and everything he has done for the club and his continuous contributions to the club and fly fishing community.   ​
