Several Fireland members attended the 2016 PHW Patriot Day Fish Outing at Castelia's Steelhead Hatchery Sept.10, 2016 to help our veterans. The event was coordinated by Keven Ramsey.

Keven's outing have grown in PHW programs that now attend which are; Sheffield, Rocky River, Lewis E. Stokes VA, Willoughby, Akron, Columbus and Cincinnati. Since 2019 the Greater Cleveland programs has grown from 1 program to 4 programs in Ohio thanks to Monte Casey, Richard Fox and their dedicated volunteers.

The 2016 event was well organized and executed thanks to Keven's and Firelands volunteers and a special thanks to the Boy Scout Troop who pickup fish and cleaned them and to the hatchery's staff who helping with setup.
